He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Laurence Broadbent and Grace Vicks Broadbent; his wife Jacqueline Kavalla; his children, Darlene Broadbent, Mark Broadbent (Janice), Scott Broadbent, Lee Broadbent (Stephanie), Chris Broadbent (Crystal) and Sonia McSweeney (Kevin); his grandchildren, Jacquelyne, Melissa, Steven, Lauren, Rebecca, Crystal, Tiffany, Renee, Shawn, Eric, Ashley, Jessica, Julia, Zachary and Sydney; and his siblings, Nancy Gibilaro (Ross), Shannon Plumley (Ron) and Brian Broadbent. He was also cherished by many great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to his family at the Kingdom Hall.
