He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Hughes and Evelyn J. Miller Hughes; his sister Virginia Wilson; and his brother-in-law Bob Pidgeon. He is survived by: his girlfriend Norma Griffin; his children, Matthew Hughes (Manuel) of Tampa, FL, Shannon Storms (Mark), Mary Hughes (Lee) of Lyonsdale, NY, Erin Hughes of Rochester, NY, Angela La Fountain (Mark) of Lyonsdale, Steven Griffin (Missy) of Lyonsdale, Bryon Griffin (Heather) of Lyonsdale and Ben Griffin (Krissy) of Lyonsdale; his sisters, Peg Pitcher (Jim), Marilyn Pidgeon and Carolyn Levan (Tim); and his brother-in-law Eric Wilson. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
