Barbara J. Sykes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara J. Sykes of Boonville, New York, who passed away on October 30, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sperry Hines and Evelyn Fey Hines; her spouse Horatio L. "Sam" Sykes; and her children, Ida Catherine Simard, Horatio "Skip" Bryan Sykes (Eloise), Holland Patent, Sperry Jesse "Stub" Sykes (Nancy), Abbie M. Gorczynski, Myrtle Sarah Bidwell of Wappingers Falls, NY, Catherine Ida Beighey (Jan), Floyd, Sherman John Sykes (Jodie) and Barbara Marie Sykes. She was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a sister, Joyce Schuetz, Florida and nieces and nephews.
