He is survived by: his mother Edith Oaks (Shute); his close friend Karen Smith; his son Bryon Oaks (Tiffany); his stepdaughters, Jessica Lee of Herkimer, NY and Stacey Hardin (Richard); his granddaughters, Stella and Athena Oaks; his stepgrandchildren, Robbie of Forestport, Hallie of Forestport and Trenton of Forestport; his brother Stuart (Dina); his nephew Reese; and his friend Steve Martin.
