He was predeceased by: his foster siblings, Marion Rowley Avery, Earl J. Rowley, Jr. and Jean Rowley Ford. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Smith; and his close friend Fred Stowe of Bombay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
