He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Monroe and Marie Segnor Monroe; his wife Dixie Barnes; his stepchildren, Linda Matteson (Kevin), Barton Barnes (Ellen) and Stacy Boyer (Dave Pieczynski); his grandchildren, Randi, Abby, McKenzie, Logan and Gabrielle; his great grandchildren, Parker, Londyn and Beau; and his siblings, William Monroe and Charmain Monroe. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
