Frederick L. Stives Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2025, at the age of 79, Frederick L. Stives Jr. (Bolivar, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Stives, and Beulah Cole Stives, Sr.; his sister Shirley Bradford (Dana); and his close friend Charlie Hahn. He is survived by: his wife Ella; his children, Billy Stives of Belmont and Donna Ewing (Kevin) of Wellsville; his granddaughters, Madison Ewing and Kennedy Ewing; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Slocum (Cheryl) of Wellsville, Ed Slocum (Suzanne) of Little Genesee and Karen Slocum of Wellsville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc. (554 S Main St, Bolivar, NY 14715). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bolivar-Richburg Sports Booster, c/o Alice Hackett, 100 School Street, Bolivar, New York 14715. Please note on the donation to be used for the softball team.
