He is survived by: his parents, Rudolf Pohl and Anna Pohl (Wulf); his wife Marga Pohl (Kohne); his children, Carsten Pohl (Stacy) of Blue Point, NY, Andrea Parkin (Scott) of Huntersville, NC and Tanja Peters (Dirk) of Schoharie; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Lindsay, Courtney, Kristin, Rhyan, Hanna, Ethan and Harley; his brother Rudolf Meirits of Bremen; and also, Germany Meirits and Gertrude Meirits of Hamburg.
