With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell E. Almony of Blossvale, New York, who passed away on May 30, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Almony and Mabel Almony (Boyer); his sister Shirley Dyer; his son-in-law Carl Burch; his nephew Nate Howard; and his uncle Gerald Scott.
He is survived by: his former wife Susan Scott Hummel; his wife Sue; his daughters, Deanna Nason (Phil), Deborah Burch and Holly Nichols (Jason); his stepchildren, Lance Kapps (Crystal), Rebecca MacFarland (Mark), Jodi Hummel (John Harris), Scott Williams (Adja) and Kevin Hummel (Tazz); his sisters, Connie Stegman (Bill) and Judy Howard (Rodney); his grandchildren, Michael, Matthew Nason, Justin Burch (Lena), Ethan, Morgan, Jack Kapps, Katja Harris, Sabrina Metott (Cody), Ty Williams and Allyson Pope; his great grandchildren, Lincoln Metott and Miley Harris; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Squires (Thomas), Cathy Radley (Jeffrey), Gary Scott (Sybil) and Dale Scott (Leona).
