She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Allison and Margaret Bartlett Allison; her son Melvin C. Smith; her stepmother Bernice Allison; and her stepbrothers, Richard Allison and John Allison.

She is survived by: her son Robert 'Bob' Smith of Blossvale, NY; her brother Robert 'Bob' Allison; her half-sister Joan Marshall of White Lake, NY; her daughter-in-law Tina Smith of Camden, NY; and her nephews, Craig, Erin Allison of Plattsburgh, NY and Troy Marshall.
