With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane F. Pope of Blossvale, New York, who passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Pope and Ethel Meese; her siblings, William Pope, John Pope, George Pope, Joe Pope, Charles Pope and Sally; and her brothers-in-law, Bud Snell, Oscar Turner and Nick Talerico.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Dole of Taberg, Terry Dole (Suzanne) of Blossvale, Curtis Dole (Jessica Allemann) of Taberg and Louis Dole (SueAnne Mulverhill) of Rome; her sisters, Elizabeth Snell, Sheila Turner, Virginia Snow and Luella Talerico; and her daughter-in-law Tricia Dole. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home (7751 Merrick Rd, Rome, NY 13440). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
