He was predeceased by: his father George Johnson; his brothers, Arthur, Raymond and Kenneth; and his parent Henny Haggestad Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Fern Johnson (Tobiasson); his children, Karl "Joey" Johnson of Vienna, NY, Lisa Aubin (Tom) of Saranac, NY and Pam Mayer (Don) of Oswego, NY; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Brian, David, Sarah, Dylan, Erika and Trevor. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
