He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Herrig and Dolores Readinger Herrig; his wife Melissa "Missy" Comstock; his sons, James Herrig of Norwich and Kevin Herrig of Camden; his stepson Tracy Kuchta of Coco Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Piper Herrig and James Herrig; his stepgrandson Colin Kuchta; his sister Kathleen; his brother-in-law David Haldenwang of Blossvale; his mother-in-law Gertrude Comstock of Coldbrook; his stepchildren, Hope Comstock and Kyle Holmes; his siblings-in-law, Summer Comstock of Coldbrook, Juanita Rivera of Clinton, Tiesha Comstock of Richfield Springs, Earl Comstock of Utica and Jerry Rivera of Coldbrook; his sister Cindy Herrig; and his granddaughter Adrienne Carrier.
