She was predeceased by: her parents, Osker Ottinger and Katherine Johane Ottinger of Germany; her former husband Fred E. Hitt Jr.; her husband Andrew Colvin; her brother Kurt; her son Fred Hitt III; and her siblings-in-law, Anna, Dorthey, Peg, May, Jim, Sam and Dick.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Hitt (Donna) of Stamford and Katherine Sparkes (Darryl) of Stamford; her grandchildren, Kevin Hitt (Suzy) of Stamford, Jennifer Mueller (Bob) of Roanoke, VA, Joshua Sparkes (Bri) of Stamford and Cory Sparkes Bloomville (Marsha Nissen); her great grandchildren, Braydon Sparkes, Lila, Lauren Mueller, Brooke, Jacob Hitt, Paisley and Adalee Sparkes; her sisters, Krista and Ursala of Germany; and her brothers-in-law, John Hitt of Norfolk, VA and Mel Hitt of Caselton, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
