Maria Karuna Seales Obituary

Bloomington - Maria Karuna Ross Seales passed away on August 24, 2024 at the home of her sister in New Paltz, after a long struggle with cancer. She was born on October 29, 1966 in Honesdale, Pennsylvania to Margaret Lewis Human and Robert M. Ross, Jr. She leaves behind her husband of many years, Wayne Seales-Silvia, her mother, two older sisters, Elizabeth Arielle Curtin of New Paltz, NY and Rebecca Curtin of San Diego, CA, and two younger brothers, Starr and Daniel Ross. She also leaves a stepson, Ju-el Robinson, a nephew, Rees Curtin-De Tar, a niece, Chadeayne Curtin-De Tar, and twin grandniece and nephew, Isabelle and Isaiah. Although staunchly independent from a young child, Karuna was always close to family. We miss you Runi. Rest in peace. Please consider donating to Hudson Valley Hospice in her memory.
