She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Shene and Jeanette Shene; her daughter Dana Conway (LePichon); her siblings, Ruth "Tootie" Harrigan, Jerry and Paul Jr. Shene; her brothers-in-law, Ronald Harrigan and George Schaefer; and her former spouse Willam Everett Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Tim "Whitey" Whitelaw; her children, William Everett (Aubrey) of Quincy, MA and Angelique (Nathan Duso) of Malone; her grandchildren, Julia (Miles Everett), Matthew (Caleb Stewart), Dylan Duso, Angelina Boyle and Jezibelle (Raven Conway); her siblings, Joan Schaefer of Saranac Lake, Michael Shene (Laura) of Englewood, FL and Steven Shene (Debbie) of Palm Bay, FL; and her sisters-in-law, Paula Shene of Southampton, NY and Laura Gregg of Pelzer, SC. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family and dear friends.

Family and friends wishing to remember Virginia "Ginny" Elaine Whitelaw may make memorial contributions to the Tri-Lakes Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
