He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert B. Miller Sr. and Vera Wyatt Miller; his wife Emma Ruth Miller; his siblings, Bruce Ellison and Shirley Conklin; and his grandparents, Charles Wyatt and Addie Coddington Wyatt.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard A. "Rick" Miller (Debbie) of Fairhaven Mass, Jeffery L. Miller (Donna) of Bloomingburg and Robert C. Miller (Ann-Marie) of Bloomingburg; his grandchildren, Richard Miller Jr. (Jessie), Lindsey Bangs (Andrew), Sara Jackson (Shaun), Justin Miller and Michael Miller; his great grandchild Alaric; his brother Ronald Ellison (Rosie); and his caregiver Mary Newhall. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
