It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oddvar Egenes of Bloomingburg, New York, who passed away on October 7, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Oddvar Egenes to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Einar Egenes and Magnhild Egenes (Rodland); his wife Jette Marie; and his siblings, Greta, Ingebjorg and Eivind.

He is survived by: his children, Rita Egenes (Stein Jarl) of Kvinesdal, Norway, Jan Erik Egenes (Maude) of Middletown, NY and Glenn Egenes (Catherine) of Rock Hill, NY; his sisters, Anne Marie Thompson of Brooklyn, NY and Erika Egenes of Kvinesdal; and his grandchildren, Karen Marie, Tina, Sigurd Erik, Jeremy Michael, Bjorn Oddvar and Christopher Glenn. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
