We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2021, at the age of 86, Margaret M. Horne of Bloomingburg, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret M. Horne to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Latimer and Christina O'Sullivan Latimer; her husband Robert Horne; and her siblings, Kevin, Bobby, Vinny, Tommy, Raymond and Dinah.

She is survived by: her son Peter J. Cavalier (Sandra) of Bloomingburg; her grandchildren, Christopher Cavalier, Jennifer Lucas (Jason), Peter Cavalier and Kelly Cavalier; her great grandchildren, Tyler and Braedan; and her brothers, Charles, Francis and Michael Latimer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to the current health crisis, social distancing guidelines must be met - a limited number of people at one time will be allowed in the funeral home and at the church, and facemasks are required.

Memorial contributions can be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Catholic Charities.

“Maggie was a warrior in my eyes. She suffered terribly from a physical ailment but she was a devoted grandmother to Chris, Jennifer, Peter, and Kelly. Maggie was dedicated to her beloved parish. Her faith was very important to her and she shared it with her family and friends. I will always remember the beautiful hat that she wore to Sandy and Peter's wedding as well as her amazing dancing skills when she got out onto the dance floor at their reception.. Rest in peace Maggie.”
