He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Barnett and Ada D'Ambrosio Barnett; and his sister Arlene Rodstrom. He is survived by: his wife Marie Leuzzi Barnett; his children, Damiane Doyle (Jim) of Middletown, Lisa Bond (Joe) of Montgomery and James R. Barnett Jr. (Missy) of Seymour, TN; his grandchildren, Meghan, Riley, Matthew, Taylor and Jimmy; and his brother Ronald Barnett. He is also survived by several nieces nephews.
