He was predeceased by: his father Henry Clay; and his brother William Clay. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Clay (Matthew Knapp) and Tiffany Clay (Joe Avanzato); his granddaughter Madeline; his mother Barbara Clay; his siblings, Tina Connolly (Jeff) and Scott Clay (Gloria); his close friend Sarah Miller; and his former wife Lisa Clay. He is also survived by five nieces.
