He is survived by: his wife Jean Chappell Batte; his son William Batte (Teresa); his siblings, Jerry Batte (Jean), Sue Luckman (Paul), Edith Douglas (Bob), Nancy Patz, Jean Batte, Patricia Villanucci (Anthony), Joan D'Agostino (Charlie Cross) and Joanne Thornton (Wilbur); and his brothers-in-law, William Chappell (Rosemary) and Michael Chappell. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
