He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Edith Shelley (Salter); his children, Aaron Shelley (Susan), Amber Shelley (Scott Browne) and Alicia Olcott; his grandchildren, Alexis Peck and Michael Hurt II; his brother Terry Shelley (Valerie); his siblings-in-law, Tom Salter (Laura), Amy Weidow and Donald Salter; and his parents, Francis Shelley and Dorothy Shelley (Scepanik). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
