He was predeceased by: his siblings, Timothy Griffith, John Griffith, Jr., Mary Merritt and Elizabeth Stappenbeck; his brother-in-law Charles Stappenbeck, Sr.; and his parents, John Griffith and Gertrude Griffith (Harrington).
He is survived by: his brothers, Joseph and Christopher Griffith; and his sisters-in-law, Roberta and Colleen Griffith. He is also survived by two nieces; two nephews; and cousins.
