He was predeceased by: his wives, Geraldine Clohecy and Margaret Clohecy; his daughter Sylvia Kifer; and his siblings, Elton Clohecy and Edna Gottshell.
He is survived by: his children, Ellen Blair (Aaron), Sharon Branagan (Vern), Jeannine Vest and Leslie Voss (Marilyn); and his son-in-law Bill Kifer. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces.
