She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Pamela Headlee (Michael), Jeffrey Steele (Debra) and Joel Steele (Jaylene); her sisters, Elizabeth Schwarzweller (Harry) and Ada Horton (Duane); her sister-in-law Mary Purdy; her husband Stanley O. Steele; her grandson Alex Headlee; her brother John L. Purdy; and her parents, John J. Purdy and Helen Purdy (Bliss). She was also cherished by 23 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren.
