Hobel of Bliss, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on March 30, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Brauer and Matilda Thompson Brauer; her husband Earl Hobel; and her brother Wesley Brauer (Marge). She is survived by: her children, Lee Hobel (Patti) of West Seneca, Mark Hobel (Ann) of West Seneca, Glenn Hobel (Clair) of Buffalo, Gail Calabotta (John) of Lackawanna, Scott Hobel (Chris) of Holland and Lisa Seewaldt (Dan) of North Java; and her siblings, Ada Hobel (late Cal) of Massachusetts and Clyde Brauer (Nancy) of Clarence. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to The Cloisters, 171 North Maple Street, Warsaw, New York 14569 to be used to help fund the activities that Elly so enjoyed.
