Virginia Tarnowski Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Tarnowski of Blasdell, New York, who passed away on April 3, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel A. Tarnowski; her parents, Frank Kozak and Josephine Kozak; and her siblings, Irene Borowiak (late Edward), Frank Kozak (Alice), Mary Ann Rusczyck (late Thaddeus) and Lorraine Burka (late James).
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Hojnacki (Ronald), Daniel Tarnowski (Mary) and Janine Hody (Richard); her grandchildren, Adam Szafranski (Christine), Rebecca Owen (Josh), Patrick Tarnowski (Marissa), Jared Hojnacki (Bethany), Aaron Tarnowski, Sarah Shtylman (Roman), Grace Hody, Chelsea Kaminski (Daniel), Christopher Tarnowski, Mallory Bischel (Zachary), Daniel Hody (Kelly) and Matthew Hody; and her sisters, Genevieve Ignaczak (late Carl) and Eleanor Perez (late Raymond).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (3060 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church (3148 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127).
