We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2022, at the age of 93, Rita Kurnik (Blasdell, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Kurnik; her son James Kurnik; and her parents, Jacob Podpora and Anna Podpora. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Kind (Kevin); her grandchildren, Michael Kurnik (Sarah), Andrea Kurnik and Stephanie Derrick (Christopher); her great grandchildren, Ethan, Kristoff, Ava and Scarlet; and her siblings, Edward Podpora (late Claire), Henry Podpora (Marcia) and Joan Wilczewski (late Paul). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
