He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Flis. He is survived by: his children, Paul H. Flis, Jr. (Kennedy Howe) and Amy Flis; his grandchildren, Ray Flis (Diyon), Amelia Groomes and KaJa Faye Flis; his great grandchildren, Kian and Theodore Flis; and his siblings, Mark Flis (Bev), Kurt Flis and Cheryl Wiles. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the John J. Kaczor Funeral Home, Inc. - Blasdell (3450 South Park Ave, Buffalo, NY 14219).
