He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. Kowalski Sr. and Helen C. Kowalski. He is survived by: his brother Stanley Kowalski (Susan); his niece Stephanie Kowalski; his nephews, Leonard Kowalski (Deanna), Mark Kowalski (Krissy) and Charles Kowalski (Rose); and also Artie Kowalski. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
