He was predeceased by: his son Jeffrey Couhig (Jennifer); his parents, Clinton "Bud" Couhig and Leona Couhig; his siblings, Donna Arencino (late Larry), Clinton Jr. "Bootsey" Couhig (late Lorraine) and Thomas Couhig (late Rose); and his pet Punkin.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Couhig; his child Shannon Rivera (George); and his grandchild Jordan Rivera. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel) (3060 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (861-929 Fr. Baker Blvd, Lackawanna, NY 14218).
If desired, donations may be made in Dennis' name to the SPCA of Erie County.
