She was predeceased by: her husband Michael A. Romano; and her brother-in-law Anthony Romano. She is survived by: her son Samuel Romano; her brother Dr. Peter Wittlinger (Rosemary); and her siblings-in-law, Robert Romano (Karen) and Rosemarie Crean (John). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Betsy's honor to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, Buffalo City Mission, Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, or Hospice Buffalo. Betsy proudly worked as an art teacher at Hamburg High School since 1974, earned the title of Art Department Chair/District Coordinator and was recognized as the Distinguished Educator of 2024 by the Hamburg Alumni Foundation.
