She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Wooledge and Florence Wooledge (Lashaw); and her husband Raymond Barney. She is survived by: her children, Sonya Barney (Paul Vandermill), Donna Jackson of Rome, NY, Douglas (Melissa Barney), Dale Morrow of Rome, NY and Irving (Althea Barney). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Bruce Funeral Home (131 Maple St, Black River, NY 13612). A prayer was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Black River (122 Maple St, Black River, NY 13612).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sarah's memory may be made to the Black River Ambulance Squad, 121 LeRay Street, Black River, New York, 13612.
