She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gladys M. DeLong Kanik and Black River; her former husband Sherwood Potter of Black River; her son Kevin D.; her daughter-in-law Kim Potter; her daughters, Jacqueline E. Boomer, Cheryl M. (Landis Fuller) and Evans Mills; her brother Robert Kanik; her son James Potter; and her brother James Kanik. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
