With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Forrest William Thomas Jr. of Black River, New York, who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest William Thomas Sr. and Mary Dobransky; and his son Jacob Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Melissa A. Thomas of Black River, NY; his son Forrest W. Thomas III of Chaumont, NY; his stepsons, Joshua Woodruff (Chenoa) of Watertown, NY and Jesse Woodruff of Florida; his grandchildren, Madilyn, Zaydin, Camden, Brendyn, Reighla and Isaiah; and his siblings, Mark Thomas (Kathy) of Natural Bridge, NY, Karen (Tim) of Pitcairn and Jeanette Cronce (John) of Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Black River American Legion.
