He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Farrell and Edith Farrell (LePine); his wife Shirley A. Farrell; his siblings, Oleta Howland, Jack and Merlin Farrell; and his sons-in-law, Larry McAvoy and Ward Foote.
He is survived by: his children, LuAnn M. McAvoy of Watertown, Deborah L. Foote of South Carolina, Sharon L. Farrell of North Carolina, Charles E. "Chuck" Farrell of Watertown, Lori J. Fox (Lester Bishop) of Evans Mills, Patrick J. "Rick" (Sandy Farrell), Mark R. Farrell (Laurie Talbot) of Gouverneur and Scott T. (Dawn Farrell). He is also survived by grandchildren, 25 and a half great-grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
