He was predeceased by: his former wife Helen; his children, Margaret Mary, John and Gerald; his wife Kathleen; and his siblings, Thomas, Helen, Kay and Agnes.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Nixon (Linda), David Nixon (Laura), Linda Scrambling (Randy), Edward Nixon, Richard Nixon (Kim) and Helen Nixon (Virginia); his stepchildren, Michael Rodney (Beth), Sean (Mary) and Kara Barcomb; and his brother Martin Nixon (Joan). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren that he loved dearly; Many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
