She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore "Ted" Romig and Barbara Romig. She is survived by: her husband Deuel "Butch" Bascom; her daughter Alicia Bascom; her close friend Linda Breffle; and her pets, Dakoda and Elly. She is also survived by one nephew, three nieces and fifteen grand-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Broome County Council of Churches: Faith in Action or Lourdes Hospice.
