Jules P.H. Furrer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jules P. H. Furrer (Binghamton, New York), who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; his parents, Julius and Madeline; and his sisters, Catherine Furrer and Theresa Mills.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Furrer and Paul Furrer (Anna Shepardson); his grandchildren, Josten Layman, Jessica Holton, Ashley Brookman-Furrer, Shaun Myles Eldred, Kurtis Coy and Hunter Coy; and his godson Gerard Cast. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home (483 Chenango St, Binghamton, NY 13901). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (1031 Chenango St., Hillcrest 13901).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to his church or the Knights of Columbus Council 11094.
