With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John C. Slocum of Binghamton, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Stephanie; and his cousin Douglas Beardsley. He is survived by: his cousins, Frank, Paul and Michael Odell; his sister Alice M. Slocum; and his cousins, Ellen Beardsley (Odell) of Johnson City, Margaret Zier of Ventura, CA, Lora Zier of Binghamton, Darren Beardsley, Endwell and Jason Beardsley of Austin. He is also survived by several other cousins, friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (282 Chenango St, Binghamton, NY 13901). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions in John's memory to St. Paul's Church, Mercy House of the Southern Tier or the American Heart Association.
