He was predeceased by: his daughter Patricia Frank. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Breznay; his children, Jimmy (Amanda), Steve, Andrew (Danee), Michael (Kristie) and Joanne (Marcelo); his son-in-law Ken; his grandchildren, Claire, Danny, Rylee, Hudson and Simon; and his sister Carol Bodnar. He is also survived by his many nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in James's name can be made to the Veterans Affairs to support those who served alongside him.
