We bid farewell to Gregory Matyas (Binghamton, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 23, 2024 at the age of 66. Gregory touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gregory may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gregory touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Matyas and Lillian Matyas (Marko). He is survived by: his sons, Nicholas Matyas of Johnson City, NY and Kevin Matyas (Kemba Daniels-Matyas) of Philadelphia, PA; the mother of his children Cindy (Koast); and his close friends, Jeff Neuss of Manlius, NY and Tom Monico of Johnson City, NY. He is also survived by several other cousins, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to St Michaels Church.
