He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie H. Distin and Margaret Distin; his sisters, Katherine Krajick (Rudy) and Mary Benenati (Paul); his in-laws, Vincenzo, Maria Patriarca, Geno Patriarca (Dora), Gilda Contento (Gerald) and Jenifer Feeley (Robert); and his nephews, Paul Benenati and Michael Krajick.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his children, Patricia Griffiths, Leslie J Distin (Anne Marie), Sandra Distin (Dennis McCabe) and Michael R. Distin (Lisa); his grandchildren, Dr. Nicole Chudacik (Michael), Ryan Griffiths (Katie), Dr. James Distin, Amanda Distin, Megan McCabe, Stacy McCabe and Michael H. Distin; his great grandchildren, Makenna, Bryce, Audra Chudacik and Rhoo Valayden; and his friend Church. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
