It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Young (Binghamton, New York), who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Catherine Young to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Cooper and Mary Cooper; and her siblings, Charles Cooper, Mary Collins, Dorothy Strauch and Gladys Ketz.
She is survived by: her husband John Young (Jack); her grandchildren, Thomas (Tara Young), Virginia (Derrick Vanderpool), James (Ella Slattery), Julie Slattery (Paul Watson), Jocelyn Young (Warren Vanderven), Daniel Young, Michael (Jordan Young) and Arianna Young (Kevin Horan); and also, John Young Jr., Thomas, Carol Young, Deborah, Kevin Slattery and Daniel. She is also survived by her 4 children and their spouses, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St Thomas Aquinas Church (1 Aquinas St, Binghamton, NY 13905). A Mass was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
