With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Genega of Bethpage, New York, born in Long Island City, New York, who passed away on October 6, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ilko Genega and Tessie Genega; and his brother Nicholas Genega. He is survived by: his wife Edna Mae Genega; his children, Thomas (Linda), James (Maria), Laura of Prato and Jeffrey (Alice); his grandchildren, Gregory, Jaclyn, Jennifer, Ashley, Candice, Christopher, Daniel, Robert and Leonardo; and his great grandchildren, Anthony, Lucas, Caleb, Sydney, Grayson and Elliott.
