He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rita; his children, Philip, Patricia Scala of Cinaminson, NJ, Anna Maria, Edward Pittari of Farmingdale, NY, Rose Scala, Joseph Beattie of Wallkill, NY, Salvatore, Kim Scala of Bethpage, NY, Cecilia, Andrew Littieri of Turnnerwville, NJ, David, Jennifer Scala of Salsbury Mills, NY, Lisa and Sebastian Bonanno of West Islip, NY.; his grandchildren, Emily, Nicholas, Joseph, Nicole, Steven, Ryan, Michael, Anthony, Danielle, Jessica, Andrew, Sarah, Gabriella, Sophia, Nicolas, Gina, Arianna and Angelina; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Rhys, Liliana, Valentina, Philip, Brandon, Rylee, Cecilia and Lance.
Due to the pandemic, the family will be having a private graveside service Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
