He was predeceased by: his parents, Stere Ploscaru and Chirata Ploscaru; his parents-in-law, Iancu and Maria Ploscaru; and his siblings, Gheorghe, Dima Ploscaru and Tana Goga.

He is survived by: his wife Ellen; and his daughters, Nicole and Alexandra Pluscarr. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
