It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward V. Holownia of Bethpage, New York, who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Edward departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Edward. Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eleanor; and his children, John (Elaine), Laura Swanson (Neil), Michael (Linda) and Thomas. He was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc. (234 Broadway, Bethpage, NY 11714). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Martin of Tours RC Church (220 Central Ave, Bethpage, NY 11714).
