He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Iola G. Andreassen; his children, Gary Andreassen (Katherine), Janice Kennedy (Daniel) and Linda Hoeberlein (Howard); and his granddaughters, Alexandra and Elizabeth.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bethpage.
